Leigh & Josh’s Landfall Country Club Wedding Highlights
Photographers: Kelly & Barrett Edwards
Josh and Leigh’s wedding was full of elegance, romance, faith, and heartfelt devotion. Leigh shined in her Tony Ward original designer gown from Kleinfeld Bridal in New York City! Her bridesmaids stunned in their dresses from BHLDN and Josh and his groomsmen looked impeccable in their suits from Men’s Warehouse. The guests were treated to a beautiful outdoor wedding followed by a beautiful reception with the musical stylings of David Pray. It was overwhelming to see the love they have for each other and we couldn’t be happier!
Leigh and Josh were kind enough to share their thoughts with us about their day and their vendors:
“We could not have picked a better venue than Landfall Country Club. They were able to make our dream wedding LITERALLY come true from the moment we stepped on site until we rode away in our wonderful British Taxi. We are definitely ‘foodies’ and we thought the food was great! The Wizard of Oz cake was an amazing touch to the formal dinner. Flowers by June went over the top and helped pull everything together. The cohesion throughout the venue because of her flowers was impeccable. Every decoration really popped because of her flowers, but our Pergola!!! It was more than we could ever imagine and easily the most Pinterest worthy piece at our wedding. Thanks June! Our wedding video was shot by Kvn Media. He is a great friend with a great eye. I can’t wait to see what he put together for us. Overall, it was an amazingly beautiful day that could not have been accomplished without all of these great vendors! A huge thank you to everyone involved.
Kelly and her team at Anchored In Love are some of the most amazing and professional people. They did such a spectacular job capturing everything from the little details at the venue to our every emotion as the day progressed. There were so many things that we missed on the day itself, but we were able to actually notice and relive through the photos because of Anchored In Love. We love to do more artsy, dramatic styled shoots and Kelly hit the mark on our formal photos after the ceremony. They belong in a magazine! Thanks Kelly! You rock!
As far as DIY, Josh designed all of the signage that was placed throughout the venue. He also designed the menus and table numbers. The pergola was built by Parks (The father of the bride) and a team of friends the morning of.
We go to a lot of weddings, as we are in the business, but truly this was the most beautiful wedding we have ever been to! The elegance and detail throughout the whole day was completely spot on. Even though it was a whirlwind of a day, we were able to really enjoy it and focus on what’s important – each other.
The Grooms favorite moment was obviously seeing his bride walk down the isle. And Kelly made sure to capture my ugly cry face in a thousand photos so I could remember that feeling year after year. Ha-ha
Parting Advice: Plan. Book in advance. Think about the details – these are the things that will really make your day really stand out.
The biggest piece of advice though… enjoy the ride. It’s going to be hectic. It’s going to be crazy. It’s going to be stressful. But know that at the end of that day, you’ll be married and that’s all that matters.”
Congratulations Leigh and Josh! We wish you nothing but happiness as you begin your journey as husband and wife!
