Ashley & John’s Southport Wedding Highlights

We had the amazing privilege of working with a dream team of vendors and a fantastic couple to celebrate the marriage of Ashley and John at the Southport Community Building in Southport, NC.  Melissa and her team from Knot Too Shabby did a wonderful job helping to plan and coordinate all the details for the day.  

Ashley and her girls got ready at a local bed and breakfast and were pampered with makeup by Amy Kennison and hair by Wisp Salon & Spa.  We loved seeing the tears of happiness when Ashley’s dad got a chance to see her in her dress for the first time.

One of the sweetest moments of the day was when the bride and groom exchanged a first look by an old oak tree.  Ashley looked like a princess and I know John was so proud to have her by his side.

The couple made sure their bridal party looked their best.  The bridesmaids had delicate butterfly heals and the groomsmen were treated to matching watches as a present from John.

At the ceremony there were many show stopping details and we loved all the furniture supplied by Party Suppliers & Rentals.  The guests felt like they were at a five star resort as they watched Ashely and John exchange vows on luxurious white couches surrounded by chandeliers, and blooms created by florist Kim Fisher Designs.

The reception was full of love and dancing.  Guests enjoyed a delicious meal from A Thyme Savor Catering and scrumptious cake by Alison’s Cakery.

We loved ending the night with a mini sparkler send off with just the bride, groom, and the sea.

Congratulations Ashley and John!  We wish you a lifetime of happiness!
