I recently had the pleasure of capturing the beautiful wedding of Lyndsi and Justin in the charming town of Havelock, North Carolina. From the moment I met this delightful couple, I knew their wedding day would be filled with love, joy, and special moments. So, let’s dive into the story of their journey together and the magic that unfolded on their special day!
Before their wedding Lyndsi and Justin had been together for an impressive 6.5 years. From the beginning, their connection was strong, and they embarked on a journey that led them to this momentous occasion.
One of the things that truly shines through when spending time with Lyndsi and Justin is their love for outdoor adventures. They find immense joy in kayaking, hiking, and simply enjoying nature’s beauty. Their cherished dog often accompanies them on their escapades, adding an extra element of happiness to their outings. Whether it’s playing cornhole or relishing peaceful moments on the porch, they love basking in each other’s company.

Lyndsi and Justin’s favorite getaway spot is undoubtedly the beach. They frequently visit the coast, as it holds a special place in their hearts. So, it was no surprise that they chose the breathtaking Neuse Breeze as the location for their wedding and reception. The stunning ocean view and the enchanting floral arrangements at Neuse Breeze perfectly captured their vision for an unforgettable day.
Now, let’s talk about the proposal, a moment filled with surprise and magic. While both were home from college due to hurricane Florence, they decided to go hiking on the trail where they shared their first kiss. Little did Lyndsi know that Justin had a beautiful plan in store. At the peak of the mountain, he arranged for one of her best friends to “unexpectedly” run into them. It was at this very moment that Justin got down on one knee and asked Lyndsi to marry him, with their friend capturing every heartfelt second on camera. It was a proposal straight out of a fairytale!
As I got to know Lyndsi and Justin better, I discovered that they have a deep appreciation for the importance of family, friends, and delicious food. They hold these values close to their hearts and wanted their wedding day to reflect their love for those dear to them. One thing that stood out to them about our services was the personal touch we offer as a couple who genuinely loves what we do. They appreciated that they would always have the opportunity to communicate directly with us, ensuring a seamless and heartfelt experience.

On their wedding day, Lyndsi and Justin had a few special elements that they wanted us to capture in their wedding video. First and foremost, they wanted the beauty of the ceremony location and the carefully curated decor to be highlighted. The mesmerizing ocean backdrop and the exquisite flowers at Neuse Breeze set the stage for a truly magical event.
In addition, both Lyndsi and Justin have experienced the loss of a parent during their teenage years. To honor their loved ones, they decided to wear charms with their parents’ pictures on their wedding day. Lyndsi planned to surprise Justin by presenting him with his charm during a tender moment. They expressed their desire to have this heartfelt exchange captured on film, and we were honored to make that happen.
When we asked Lyndsi and Justin what they hope to see reflected in their wedding video years from now, their answer was simple yet profound. They wanted their love for one another and the unwavering support of their families to shine through. Above all, they wanted their video to be a testament to the incredible fun they had on their special day, reminding them of the joyous celebration of their love and I think their video does just that.
