Kelly and Bradon are two North Carolina teachers who are a match made in heaven! Last fall, their Engagement shoot at Fort Fisher had some of the best light I have ever seen! My husband Barrett and I shot the wedding and then he helped guests have a blast in our photo booth, while I captured all the reception festivities! The Aquarium was a really wonderful venue with an amazing staff and we feel so fortunate to return and be able to capture another lovely wedding there! Some favorite moments: – The North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher! The atmosphere is so amazing! – The Mother/Son dance, they did the best Pee-Wee Herman impression ever! – The band, Spare Change! They were so talented and entertaining! – One of the vendors was Rita’s Ice! The friendly staff passed out delicious Italian Ice to guests! My favorite flavor was the orange 🙂 Here are some things the bride had to say: My vendors were all great! I am really glad I decided on the Aquarium. It looked amazing and I didn’t have to worry about the weather the day of the wedding. Holly was really easy to work with and would meet with me whenever I needed it. Everyone loved Spare Change. That was one of the decisions we were stuck on for a while because it was a lot more expensive than a DJ. In the end it was so worth it! Jordan was really flexible and easy to work with. Middle of the Island was pretty much my first and only choice as a caterer. I had tried their food before and loved it. On top of that their prices are great! I booked them really early, but I didn’t have to decide on anything until the week of the wedding. I won my wedding cake from Wal-Mart in Morehead. I would have ordered my cake from them even if I hadn’t won it because their prices are great and they had done some beautiful cakes in the past. I didn’t really have a wedding coordinator. My friend Shalen was in charge of set up the day of the wedding. My florist was Julia’s. I just sent them a picture I found on Pintrest and then the day of the wedding that was exactly what I got. I wouldn’t change anything about my wedding. I guess making my own centerpieces was a little bit stressful, but they were exactly what I wanted. I loved having Rita’s there. I don’t really like cake so I wanted an alternate choice for dessert. It was a good choice for the summer. I am also really glad I did the photo booth. The guests enjoyed it and we got some really cute pictures. My family had fun trying to see how many people they could fit in one picture!
