Katie and Mark are as sweet as they get! I love Katie’s version of how they met:
“Mark and I met in high school our sophomore year. My mom had actually asked if I knew Mark, and his mom asked if he knew me, and we both had no idea who the other was. He was sitting at my lunch table and was very handsome, but very quiet! I decided I would get this kid to talk somehow. He finally started talking to me and eventually started walking with me to one of my classes since it was on the way to his. School let out for the summer, and I didn’t hear from him at all. The next school year started and we didn’t have the same lunch, but we passed each other in the hall several times! He eventually asked me to homecoming, and then asked me to be his girlfriend! Ever since then, we’ve had ups and downs and we’ve learned a lot about each other, but five years later, by God’s grace, we now are getting ready to grow old together! :)”
We had so much fun shooting this adorable engagement session Downtown Wilmington and we can’t wait to be a part of their wedding this August!
