Kathryn & Albert’s Fort Fisher Engagement

Today, I’m absolutely thrilled to share the heartwarming story of my sister Kathryn and her fiancé Albert’s engagement photo session at the picturesque Fort Fisher in North Carolina. It’s a tale of surprises, love, a little touch of magic, and the beautiful way their relationship blossomed from friendship to love.

A Friendship That Turned to Love:

Kathryn and Albert’s love story began in a charmingly ordinary place – a restaurant where they both worked. Albert was the cook, working his culinary magic in the kitchen, while Kathryn, my sister, was the friendly face serving tables. Their paths crossed daily as they each played their part in creating a wonderful dining experience for others. As they worked side by side, their camaraderie grew, and a genuine friendship took root. Later, the friendship grew into love.

A Journey Back to the Beginning:

Months before their engagement, Albert orchestrated a heartwarming surprise for Kathryn at Fort Fisher. He gathered her best friends and family, setting the stage for a momentous event. As they strolled through the breathtaking scenery, Albert guided Kathryn along a path adorned with signs narrating their journey. The signs spoke of their love, the life they had built, and the dreams that awaited. And at the path’s end, Albert took a knee, sealing their commitment with a ring and an affirmative “yes.”

From Surprise to Spring:

Fast forward to the early days of spring, and we found ourselves at Fort Fisher once again. This time, with camera in hand, we embarked on an engagement photo session that perfectly captured the essence of Kathryn and Albert’s love. Amidst the backdrop of the setting sun and the tranquil Cape Fear River, their genuine affection and shared joy radiated brightly.
