Michele and KR’s Romantic Coastal Wedding at Southern Grace House, Topsail Island

Michele and KR’s love story began at a wedding, where they instantly clicked and became inseparable, despite the distance between Manhattan and Baltimore. After several months of traveling back and forth, Michele made the move to Baltimore, calling it the “easiest decision” of her life. From then on, they shared a love for adventure, hiking, and spending time with family, often spending their days exploring cities, taking long drives, or cooking together.

Their proposal was a beautiful, intimate event that captured the essence of their relationship. After a memorable Thanksgiving with KR’s family, they picked out their first Christmas tree together and, unknowingly, set the stage for one of the most special moments of their lives. With only the lights of the tree glowing, KR proposed in their living room—an unforgettable memory that Michele cherishes to this day.

Their wedding at Southern Grace House on Topsail Island was a perfect reflection of their love for one another and their families. Before the ceremony, Michele and KR privately shared their vows on the beach, with only the ocean breeze and myself there to capture the intimate moment. It was a quiet and emotional exchange, setting the tone for the rest of the day.

The wedding also held deeply emotional moments as Michele and her family honored the memory of her late father. One of the most touching parts of the day was when Michele’s mother danced with her through tears during the traditional “father-daughter” dance. It was a tear-filled, heartwarming tribute that left no dry eyes in the room.

The couple also made sure their guests had a great time, especially the little ones. They went above and beyond by creating special kids’ menus and planning activities for them. Guests also signed their corn hole boards, which served as both a fun wedding activity and a cherished souvenir.

The perfect cherry on top was the arrival of Boombalatti’s Ice Cream truck, serving up delicious homemade ice cream that delighted everyone.

It was an unforgettable day, filled with love, laughter, and moments of deep emotion, and I feel incredibly honored to have captured it all for Michele and KR to treasure forever.
