I had the privilege of capturing the beautiful wedding of Lyndsay and Cameron at Southern Grace in Topsail Island. It was a gorgeous day filled with love, laughter, and special moments that I had the honor of documenting.
The wedding took place on Topsail Island, and the couple shared with me that they chose the location because of the many memories they have made here, and because it’s their favorite beach.

I had the incredible opportunity to capture the love story of Lyndsay and Camron during their engagement photoshoot at Topsail Island. These two lovebirds first met back in 2015 while attending NC State, and they have been inseparable ever since. After years of laughter, growth, and creating cherished memories together, they got engaged in April 2019 at Topsail Island itself.
Topsail Island holds a special place in their hearts, as Lyndsay’s family has a vacation home there, and it’s a place they’ve been spending a lot of time during quarantine. Over the past five years, they have experienced many joyful moments together, exploring various destinations and savoring good food, drinks, and games. They also cherish spending quality time with their families and friends, often gathering for meals and enjoying each other’s company at local breweries.
As their wedding photographer, I couldn’t be more excited to witness and document their journey as they take the next step in their love story. Lyndsay and Camron’s love for each other is evident in every glance and touch, and I can’t wait to share images from their special day filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments. Their active pup, Kora, adds a joyful element to their adventures at the park.
The Perfect Proposal: On a memorable day in October 2019, Colt took Amanda back to the bar where their first date took place. With love and excitement in his heart, he asked Amanda to marry him, and with a resounding “YES,” their future together was sealed. The surprise of finding their friends and families waiting to celebrate with them made the moment even more magical.
Family Traditions and Special Bonds: Both Amanda and Colt cherish their close-knit families and hold strong family values. Though they may not have many traditions yet, they eagerly anticipate creating new ones together in the future. Their love for family and their bond with their younger brothers strengthen their sense of connection and belonging.

Witnessing the mother helping the bride in her wedding dress was a symbolic gesture, a reminder of the love and care that have shaped Amanda’s life. As self-proclaimed “beach people,” they couldn’t have imagined a more perfect setting. Their wedding and reception allowed them to spend a whole weekend basking in the love of their family and friends, making their wedding an unforgettable experience.
